The "monster" caught by the japanese fishermen is a partially decomposed carcass of either a whale shark or a basking shark. I read it in a book entitled "Monsters of the Deep." The resemblance to a long necked dinosaur is incidental and has something to do with shark cartilage. As for the video, its the first time I've seen that. Pretty interesting...

Its a basking shark, I read it a couple of yrs back.
