I don't know what the deal is. In the past two weeks I have had two panda corys, two guppies, and three neons die. My water is fine, at first I thought that it was probably my African butterfly getting a hold of the neons, but I found the bodies and he wouldn't have left any bodies had he gotten a hold of them. I know they aren’t expensive fish (well the pandas were) but I get attached to the little guys. One of the guppies looked like he exploded from the inside; I think it was a pregnancy gone really wrong. They all seem to be independed cases. Oh well, I just needed to whine to a few sympathetic ears.

Sorry for your losses. About a month ago I had the worst week ever. I lost a 2" pbass, a 4" red tail shark, a 2" CL, a 2" chocolate albino pleco, a 1" clown pleco, and when cleaning tanks my fluval wouldn't work right and my tank turned green. Luckily (knock on wood) I have only lost a common pleco since then. My water still isn't perfectly clear though.

you ever seen a betta being shredded, I have and its wrong, just wrong. I had a betta for 9 months in a tank with 5 tiger barbs, I never hada problem with nipping, everyone was happy till IO fed the barbs the bloodworms, they quit eating flake food andwanted more bloodworms, so I figured I would cut them off all together till the ate flake, they ate my betta instead, all its fins, tails, eyes, underbelly and insides all gone, R.I.P Dinky........Really sorry to hear about your loss though, I know how it is when ya get attached

I lost an Oscar last week, he was sick when I bought him though :(

You should hear about Benficas loss.. he lost everything in his tanks!! :WHOA:

I'm having the same week.

I noticed a barb in my 75 gallon had ick, so of course even if I can't see it on any other fish, they all have ick. I'm treating the tank right now, and praying that the treatment doesn't kill my eel.

I lost 2 barbs already (died with their mouth's open, they were swimming around on their backs all day, even after two water changes.)

Then, my female Golden Wonder died today. She tried to eat an otto (forgot they were even in that tank until I took the plants out!) She was dead when I found her this morning, but the darn otto was still moving! I cut the otto out of the killi's mouth, threw it in the tank and it's looking OK. Mr. Golden Wonder looks really lonely now.
