The golden rule when adding African Cichlids........to an established African Cichlid tank is to rearrange the rocks and hides. I learned the hard ways 3 times (didn't know any better). I lost 3, $15 - $30 africans to obvious (now i know) territorial issues..........They just got so stressed from being chased non stop from the "alpha" males that they got beat up and eventually (next day) died..............sucks hard............but a lesson learned..........

my worst ever week was 11 discus, 1 common pleco, 4 silver sharks and 1 redtail... 
my lil bro over fed em w/out me knowing! i walked in to the water murky as and my fish all floating on the top..he was so sorry and paid for me to get sum new fish,...
my lil bro over fed em w/out me knowing! i walked in to the water murky as and my fish all floating on the top..he was so sorry and paid for me to get sum new fish,...Yeah losing fish sucks ass but is part of the game I guess.............no matter how good you are............and thanks to the MFK crew and staff we can all prolong the lives of all our beloved fish through shared knowledge and love of what gets us through the day!!!!!!
