I just say to myself smile at her when you meet her and try to have a conversation. If she does not want to it's alright there is other woman out there. If she is have a boyfriend it's alright too because i doubt it will last anyway seeing how both real young we are.

But still i know when i meet her over the holiday if she does not want to speak to me or if she has a boyfriend i am going to be depressed.

You have to play the field and date several woman at one time. Process of elimination bro. You can just set your mind to one and expect she is the one.

Also, since it seems that you lack the ability to approach women. You have to build your confidence. Women can sense when a man is not confident... she'll sniff you out and know you won't be a challenge. Be confident but not arrogant or conceited. Women like challenges, they want to feel as they will be the one to change you. If she sense your soft you'll be the guy buying dinner while someone else get's the desert.

Years ago, I was in the same situation. Was friends with a girl and we had unfortunately fell into the "friends" zone. She could do no wrong in my eyes. to say I had her on a pedestal would have been an understatement. Years went by and never got the chance. Lord knows I tried. We are still friends to this day.

Long story coming to an end.....I met my wife. She was an awesome girl all around. No pedastal, no high expectations. Truly a match. Makes me wonder what I ever saw in the other girl.

I say give it a shot. I did. Turns out, the grass wasn't greener. But you won't know if you don't try.

EVERYBODY says there's no getting out of the friend zone.... this is NOT true... people who can't get out had no chance with the girl in the first place... I was given the friend card by this girl freshman year of college... we would hang out all the time, than one night we were hanging out with two of our friends, and they started making out... so, we looked at eachother and started as well.... then she said, you have no idea how long i wanted to do that, and since i didn't believe it she showed me texts of her and her friend (the one making out with my friend at the moment) they were both talking about me... i had no idea and had been trying to work up the courage to talk to her all semester. (like i was almost on the stalker level lol) anywho, moral of the story, be friends, if you're a cool kid, she'll know it more and more the more comfortable you get with her... I did it and we've been dating for 2 years strong... best 2 years of my life
