i know in the past and even the present there have been much debate and talk about hybrids being inhumane. i too am not a fan, however i myself have 4 blood parrots i bought a while ago and are actually doing great in a tank with 2 oscars and some catfish...but besides that.......back to my story...so here goes, im at walmart today which i know....bad stuff about walmart.....so no need to get into. i will say though i do get alot of healthy lionhead goldfish and have gotten butterfly koi there also for good price and they have lived for years (going on 3 so far) but there i am scoping out the fish and i see wrote on the glass "THIS MONTHS SPECIAL HEART SHAPED PARROTFISH" ( they were selling for i think $14.63) I DIDNT THINK MUCH TIL I LOOKED CLOSELY AND THEY WERE THE ONES WITH NO TAIL. it instead of making me mad, got me kinda sad. that there they were at such a large chain store, which means theres alot more where these came from. of course i didnt get any. and they were swimming around quite calmly but i thought, this just SUCKS!....thats all, im done venting.
