Well after reading this I feel kind of sick to my stomach.
Reason being is that I bought 2 of these not so long ago. One is orange and one is yellow. I did not know at the time anything about what I have read on here.
On a good note, both of them are doing really well. I guess I will just live and learn and see how long they live. The yellow one is about 2 inches and the orange one is 3 inches. I might post pics once I get home.

yup, regular bp's that had their tail cut off at a young age, haha
