Heater cooked by bichir

For the price of a chiller (or less), you can probably get a controller that will cut power to the heater if the temp gets too high.

That sucks man. I just lost the first bichir I ever bought along with an albino to a heater screw up last month.

I'll have to look into the pricing for that since the heater would be the only thing I would plug into it. When I've had heaters fail its normally the other way, that they fail to heat up the water. This heater went beyond what should have been its capabilty for heating, the water had to be in the upper 90's to 100 degree catagory

I was up to four by the time it happened and what really sucks is that I had just moved the albino sen into that tank days before so I could use his growout to medicate another fish.... Now I have to track another one down in what might be the WORST city for lfs in america.
