I have two visi-therm 400 watt heaters and am looking for guards. I figure since ray owners are quite apt to guard the heaters, you guys might know where I can get 'em. I've already got the heaters, so suggesting a different brand is kind of a mute point right now. Also, at this point I'm fed up with DIY projects. Thanks in advance!

I have used 2" PVC with 3/8" holes all over and a power head off reducer on top to assure proper flow and accurate temp
I had one hell of a time finding any when I looked. I never did find any, I would also vote for pvc even though DIY can get old lol
thanks oddball for the suggestion i always had trouble finding them as well and just went with the diy pvc when i had to. i also use to use rena smart heaters as most of their heat comes from the inside when using it as an intake to a cannister or hob filter.

if you are going to diy them i do say get the bird feeder.
its a clear plastic cylinder about 2" wide and about 1' long.
it already has holes in it where the birds get the food. i think they are around 1" openings. i use the hole openings for the suction cups on the heater to stick on the sides of the tank.
i got my last ones at wal mart.

didnt tronic go out of business, i think that why their hard to find. egg krate work well for me.
