How much more of this UV debate do you want outta me?

Leopard gecko, crested gecko, hognose snake. Dont tell me to go to Petco and buy a Powerson 35232.0 supermegaultra halogen flourescent whatever it is for 50 bucks that only last 4 months.

Why would I want to prove you wrong? What more submission do you wanna squeeze outta me?

This is why I said stick with the species you know... Water dragons are completely different than nocturnal geckos and snakes.

Come onnn, better than a pic o a pleco ;) :naughty:

wouldn't be too sure on that one...

With a tall enclosure... with all the trimmings of branches a ceramic or light heat would probably be your best bet, A heatmatt wouldn't be enough IMO. If you have the photoperiod I'd go down the ceramic route... maybe the repti-radiators would be enough?

So I'd have to fit a daytime & nightime bulb?

Whats these repti-radiators?

Thanks mate. I think it looks like I'd have to go with a blacklight/infra red one at night. It's pretty expensive having them on 24/7. I'll have too see how much it would cost and if I can afford it, if not, no water dragon for me! LOL. Thanks for the help everyone.

if you go with a ceramic bulb jess (and reptile radiators are just plates you can attach to the roof of a viv) then you can have them on all the time as they don't give out any light, and then you have your UV source giving the photoperiods...

Is there an internet website (a good one) you know of Davo that sell the heat panels??

I'll look into those bulbs, don't think I've used 'em before..
Thanks alot mate
