heating..hmmmmmm?

okay guys im building a pond the gallons are close to 500....what the best way to heat it...its for stingrays..so i was thinking inline...im going to use 2 fx5's to filter...would 2 inline 300 watt heaters work?

i hear those heaters are crap, ive read alot of threads on other forums how their nothing but trouble.

why not just get a few 250w stealths and a ranco controller?

depends on how warm the room is and how well your pond is insulated.

i keep my 180 glass at 81f with 1000w, but its in a garage where the temp drops below 30f. im shure i could remove some of those heaters but better safe than sorry.

id bet on about 750w maybe more/less. maybe somebody else has a better idea.

ummm its in a basment but un heated...but im going to insulate the ponf pretty good

my buddy uses 2 250 gallon stealths on his 500gallon pond...

okay so maybe i will use 3 because my basement is a lil cold
