He is a brown. I scooped him with a net from a local private pond. He is a tiny little dude little less than an inch. I have him in my 20 gallon Cory tank until he puts some pounds on, because my oscar would have no issues gulping him down right now lol. I'll say one thing tho, that little bullhead absolutely loves some frozen blood worms lol, he puts the corys to shame when it's feeding time haha

Gotcha. I figure I should just throw this in. The pbass is an occelaris, so it is the smallest of the group (certainly still big tho) what size tank am I looking at for the oscar and bass to live together

I would say 180 (minimum) just for those 2 at full grown

Even the Occelaris PB can reach 2 feet. Is not a good tankmate for an Oscar. Oscar is omnivorous, PB is carnivorous. Oscar, despite their size are relatively peaceful cichlids. PB reaching 2ft is as long as a 6ft 180,220 and 7ft 265 is wide. PB are just not suited to standard size home aquariums. You want a nice big show tank, have Oscar, couple of severum and a school of Silver Dollars. 6ft 180 would suffice for something like that.
 
Ok so if I remove the bass from the tank, the oscar and the pike would still not be able to Co exist in a 75? They pretty much stay with each other constantly. The pike likes to suspend right under the Oscars fin

75 will be tight and you will need to do heavy water changes.

It would be ideal to lose the pbass and upgrade to a 125.

We are talking full grown correct? So I could keep a 75 for about a year until I have the ability to upgrade? Because my next tank after the 75 will be a 220. I just need time to prepare for that, and I know the oscar will outgrow the 40 very fast
