yeah petting/touching him only happen on WC, i know better than that..
who says my arowana days is numbered..r u its master or arowana god, i can assure u i love him and will not overfed he dont get obese.obese arowana is arowana with DE.thats what i choose to believe :)
i guess u talking to me arrow and u must be referring it to me.
maybe u right, i raised and trained betta fighters and they r great fish and a real fighter and i raised them to fight, solely fight and i was good at it that was my childhood:P

There is no definitive evidence on what causes DE. I very much doubt it is obesity, based on personal experience.

Go to Petco and get yourself a 55 gallon tank. They're having a $1/gallon sale right now, so it'll be 55 dollars.

here it is the first picture..i know its ugly tank with no lightning taken with a crappy blackberry tour.
atleast you guys got an idea how much small is my tank :P
i will keep update you guys with my non-text book progress
tank is 20G, the aro is approx 5 1/2 inch, the bichers are aprox 3"

Where's the filter?

Your aro looks thick for that size. Is it a short back?

thats i dont know, what i know is is came from silver arowana tank with bunch of other similar size and aro, it has some pink by the gills and fins has blackish/pinkish to it, like i said its approx 5 1/2 inch long..in the process of training him with pellet now, no luck as soon as the pellet getting soft/sinking i pick it up with my trusty net fish, he bited the pellet and again spitted it out in my face LOL
so he is fasting right now till tomorrow :P

what about Red aro and super red? I am lookig to buy 2. This guy online is trying to sale it to me 300 each, I am so worry..

Unfortunately all asian aros are illegal in the united states. The only aros allowed in the united states are silvers, jardini, lei's and african aros..

I know it's a bummer,
