what about Red aro and super red? I am lookig to buy 2. This guy online is trying to sale it to me 300 each, I am so worry..
someone please help me, give some advice

All asian arows including reds are illegal in the u.s so you would be breaking the law and facing fines if ever caught with one.

I know it sucks but I think the blacks and jardinis are beautiful so you could always get one of those

where u at here in sacramento my LFS selles black aro but the price is way too much!! it is basically is silver aro with blackish color instead.they're selling $289 for about 9-10", i dropped my jaw not because its color but the price.

I think you guys are being a little harsh on the new guy, sure he should get a large tank very soon but he's shown a lot more knowledge than most noobs. he also is actively looking for a large tank daily he said. All the comments about the aro's days being 'numbered' and what not are ridiculous. The 20 long will give him a whole month to find a good deal on a 55 or just go for the large tank. If he was saying his aro is not eating/swimming/ has ick...... or something like that this would be a different story, but thats not the case.

My comment was in responce to what imo seemed a cavalier, and bad attitude in general. It was meant too get the op's attention and hopefully inspire him to do whats right for his fish.

You make some good points, but I stand by my comment, harsh...? ridiculous...? Time will tell, hope op proves me wrong.

still looking for that large aquarium, i might find 240G thats is long style comes with cabinet stand, if they agree on my price its mine and also found another really good deal with small crack glass buttom, from the pic they sent me i could repair it but again i have to check it out with my own eyes to determine that LOL
the arowana update is i still unable to have him eat pellets
its frustrating me, he really wants live food and would try to catch a fly or 2 thru the closed top screen. i know he is hungry but still wont eat pellet..hey atleast he ate frozen and its time for petting/WC

You should get some bettas for that tank then because thats all its good for not silver arowana

bettas dont need big tank, unless u want to have them as decoration which is betta does not really suit but yeah i see alot of parents doing it for their kids
those fish hardwired to fight unless u want to raised defect bettas, which is feel free for you to do it as you wish
