today was a hot day i went out and when i came back home my tank was reading 90+ degrees 2 of my blood parrots died and the tank is still hot. I just put a fan and I froze bottles of water and put it in the tank, its not helping I also unplugged the heaters. Its a 125 gallon tank. :cry::cry::cry:

it takes alot of two litter bottles.

do you not have ac?
 
ya i have an ac its in my garage and its 3:52 in the morning. i'm planing on bringing it in when everybody wakes up. I've been going back and forth with frozen bottles from both of my refrigerators.
 
also the fan can usually only get the temp 1-2 degrees below room temperature. what the room temp?
if its 90 degrees how do you sleep at night? i cant stand anything above 80 degrees at night. lol
 
jave you tried a water change? you take out 40% you could drop the temp of the tank significantly, depending on the temp of water your putting back in. but if its an all out emergency then a 60% water change might be your only ticket out of this perdicament. you can do this if you want and this is what i would do, but its just a suggestion

i'm in my computer room, its 87 degrees. i have a ac in my room .

no clue but why do you need to wait for every one to wake up to move the ac?
 
everybody is sleeping. i don't want to make noise. plus i have to move the car out cause i have it stacked on a shelf.
 
in fact i'll go take it out now. i'm tired if i fall asleep i wouldn't wake up early enough to put it up in time.
