HELP!!! 125 long stocking ideas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
in the top 10 for sure
Also arowana. I'm sure you like those based on your forum name. If you want a cichlid other than a Flowerhorn then you should look into doviis, just don't look too close, they bite!

Yeah thought about a jardini...

jardini mature at 24", if it managed to outgrow the 125, would go in my 360, 96x36x24 or craigslist

I'd think you would need a 24" tank for a Jardini so it would have room to turn. I'm not sure why I suggested an arowana knowing that...
Although I'm no expert, and I may be wrong. Unless you know more than me (probably do) hopefully someone with more knowledge will pitch in.

if i got one would be a grow out, if it was big enough to house it for life would already have one on order :), appreciate the suggestion though

When I think of adding a new fish to a tank of mine, I plan on keeping it in that tank. I make sure none of the fish in my tank will need to be moved to a larger one (I can't keep up with another tank being larger than my 210)

a single fish in a 125 wouldn't be that hard to move, but yeah anything that goes in my 360 had better be staying for life cause even with a ladder and a pond net, catching and moving most fish is a huge pain

i've resorted to using traps when i need to remove a fish, luckily the majority of the fish i have removed attacked the net when i place it in the tank....
