HELP!!! 125 long stocking ideas

I overheard a guy who wanted a jardini at my lfs and they said they'd order one in. The thing that surprised me was that they wanted $200 for either 4-6" or 6-8". I'm not able to remember the last detail very well because this was a few months ago.

The Nile puffer looks pretty kewl

See if I can get snails to take off in the tank...hopefulky get some hitchhikers on the plants. That looks like a pretty sweet option. How are they as far as aggression? Are they timid scared of people? Do they have a large appetite? Really want a jardini for the personality and behavior....top mid level aggressive large appetite.
 
more research is revealing they don't do well in a planted tank...
