I just have these laying around they are good for odd just like clearing water before I overflow it into sump. I use danner pond pumps on all my tanks. Also use them when I'm cycling a tank or need to use carbon/purigen. Easy to add cycled media and ensure good contact.Good to see you went with an eheim.

Much appreciated! Alot of great leads to research!-asian redtail catfish (a few kinds go by this name) A guy I know with experience says they get to about 18 inches in the aquarium. But they def get a little bigger because a lot people eat them in thailand. The one im talking about has a teal body and red/pink tail when grown
-giant bumblebee catfish
-marble walking catfish or any walking catfish if they r legal where your are
-all kinds of jelly catfish
-bolt catfish
-tigrinus, but I know nothing about them.
My favorite catfish is the first one is def most common and probably cheapest and I know is a very smart catfish.
There are a lot more to name but everyone would def say get too large for a 125 gallon, but we like to look up fish so people should list them anyway... You can make your own educated decisions I'm just here to spark some ideas.
I have an African Featherfin Catfish and I love it. It's dorsal fin is at least an inch long along with it's tail fin. The fish itself may be 5-7" and it gets to 8". Before I removed it's favorite piece of slate for my breeder pair of Angels (The slate was near the top of the tank), I could hand feed it freeze dried shrimp. Now it hides towards the bottom at in the center, and since my tank have an 18" brace at the center I can't hand feed it without soaking my shirt and submerging my head.Much appreciated! Alot of great leads to research!
