i need help my alligator gar is upside down his 9inch albino alligator gar - 1:45pm great condition - came home 8pm his upside down almost a C shape breathing - no injury to snout - water parameters are fine my little loaches are okay it’s just him, i set up a hospital tank my 60cm planted tank added huge air stone and a heater, propped him on rocks so he can gulp air when he needs to - every now and then he swims struggles to the surface and gulps air

Welcome aboard
The gar looks like it has a traumatic injury. I would contact the vendor asap let them know the condition of the albino alligator gar.

Is the gar newly acquired? How long have you owned it?
I agree w tlindsey tlindsey about trauma. Bacterial awim bladder & other degenerative issues appear gradually. Then sudden change in your fish is indicative of a sudden traumatic event which gars are known for.
Sorry for this sucky situation mate 🙏🏼
