help bichir ?

What are these black spots in lines on my bichir?
He has 2 rows of these black spots. I have had him for 5 years and i dont think i have ever seen this.

Should i worry or is it just normal ?

Hey man!
move noticed this on my Senegal recently.Just a small black line/dot near her tail. My water is fine and she’s eating and acting perfectly fine as well. Not sure what it is,but probably nothing to worry about. I’m in a pretty helpful bichir group on FB. I can post there for you and see (if you don’t get an answer here) ,if you’re not on FB. But if you are join the group “crazy sons of bichirs”
 
Just some black spotting. Seen on Senegalus sometimes. Nothing to worry about.

I still havent seem him eating . Been 4 weeks now. He is still chilling at the top of the water.

Try some live earthworms.
 
Looks to be just fine, nothing to be worried about.
I have personally never seen this, but this might be a thing Bichirs naturally do.

I also have a question, I have kept bichirs for a few months now, but in my 75 gallon tank, my delhezi never leaves the ground and I have to put my hand in the tank, and drop a carnivore sinking pellet to him. How do I make him be more active / come to the top so I can feed him normally. I have never seen this behavior, is it abnormal?

most bichirs either chill at the surface or at the bottom. Maybe dimming the light? , put some plants wood near the top. Maybe the filtration is going to fast for him to stay at the top? pictures help
