Help for my Midas, Please??

So, going to walmart, in a little bit, to pick up my prescriptions, PetSmart is right next door. Going to get a new Nitrate test bottles, or should I just get the strips. Have never used them.
ok, gonna get the bottles...will update when I get home. Much Thanks to everyone that has been trying to help. You have no idea how appreciated it is!
Just curious and future references, RD, what do you think these red streaks on the fish are caused by?

I honestly have no idea. Just a bit of a wild guess, but I initially wondered if it may have been caused by a sudden drastic shift in water parameters. Really hard to say excatly what is going on with that fish, other than we know a water quality issue seems to have been the initial cause of the problems.
Ok, so just did a new test with BRAND NEW solution..... here are the new bottles.... as you can see, finally, an expiration date!!
and the new test.... you all tell me, I honestly can't tell, I would say 40-80...but I am a novice at this testing crap
