Sorry for the bad quality picture
ksHard to tell even from the pics. Not sure if lymphocystis or anything more. Would add a little salt a 1 tsp per gallon. Keep the water clean (ammonia 0, nitrites 0 and nitrates less than 20ppm). Post and update as possible.
uI’d do whatkno4te suggested and also move that other fish out. My best guess is he is ramming the divider and hurting himself trying to get at the other fish. Salt alone will not help if he’s going to continue hurting himself.
Hanging piece may fall off. It should regrow it’s traumatic.Sadly I have no where to put the other fish but if I make him less visible do you think it would help? Also is it possible for the Lip to go back into place or will it eventually fall off from repeatedly ramming the divider?

It would be worth a try. If you can’t physically remove it then making it so they can’t see each other would be th next best thing.
Can I ask what kinda fish is it?
He's with a female festae.
So once it falls off can it grow back or no?It would be worth a try. If you can’t physically remove it then making it so they can’t see each other would be th next best thing.
