It is absolutely not a cyst. When he was in shipping over a year ago from overseas his transhipper injured him when moving him into their relay tank. She sent me a picture when it happened. It has cartilaged over a bit and it has no impact on his physical situation. Anyway, I have changed his substrate and decor to a lighter color and it has helped him. I have also redecorated alot. His color has come back and I have personally spent more time at his tank and he comes out of it when I hang out for awhile. He really is an emotional basketcase. I wonder if a new home would be better. But I take care of him and very well too, or atleast I think. Finances are not an object...so, I figured I really want him to stay here and I need to continue to nurture his insecurities.
I have never heard of a fish with an anxiety disorder or depression before but wow ... really sounds like it in this case ... Strange.
