Iffrat, the comment "no problmes at all" covers a lot of ground. I tend to agree with Oscarsftw. In most cases multiple weekly water changes are needed to keep nitrates low(as in under 20 ppm) in a tank stocked like the OP & yours. (Unless keeping your nitrates above 40 ppm is acceptable).

i do a 30% maybe 2 times a month .. never have nitrates above 40 and always 0 ammonia nice clean water .. and my fish are growing and active .. but then again .. some of you people feed your fish 3 times a day .. which is crazy in my eyes .. so less food .. less poop ... less water changes ..
