I voted other cause keeping Grammodes and Dovii together could get the Grammodes killed. Consp. tend not to get along especially when they are as similar as the two you metioned. Personally, I would keep the Grammodes and add other cichlids like Salvini, Escondido, or Black Belt.

It's all good, I really like catfish too. I think an EarWeenie, um I mean Irwini, might hold his own better in the Dovii tank. The Dovii only jacks with the cat every so often and doesn't really even hurt him. The Tig hurts his own self by flinging himself all over like a wild bucking bronco.

I keep a shoal of silver dollars in the tank and every so often the Dovii charges the shoal. It makes me think of a bunch of bowling pins hahaha.

HAHA! I havent tried keeping anything with mine since it nearly killed by Dempsey and Jag. He's a bastard and i love it!

I can't make myself sell him anyway. I think he's more intelligent and has more personality than any fish I've owned. This guy is a keeper.
