Help! I think I have Bichir Eggs! Not sure what to do! *pics*

Well I'll be damned......I guess one of the two of us has never seen a bichir egg.....(me)lol Good job....I thought you were saying the fry slipped out of the egg and went under the pot...I just re read the post and I think it was me who misunderstood first.....Welcome, you are among great company in your breeding endevours...I guess I will sit back and learn as apposed to sitting here blabbing about something I have no clue about.....Good on you :)

I just hope the little guy lives and that he'll let all his little siblings live too! According to Anne, the toughest part is ahead...getting him to eat!

Not yet, but then, most of the eggs were eaten or destroyed. She's laid a bunch today and I nabbed them before anyone could get to them and I put them in the nursery. I'll post more pics as I see them all hatching.
 
dude ypu are sooooooooo luky the only baby fish ive had are baby guppy feeder fish after i baught ten next day i had 20!......any good luck and hope you succede

Well, it was kind of unexpected. I guess the only advice I have is try getting a male and female bichir, having no previous knowledge of them before now and setting them loose in a tank....whammo! Breeders!:D

congrats! hope you're successful with the frys! you are lucky as its really more than just putting a male and female and then wham :D
