Here is my 3.5 inch ZZ male...I feed him at 8:00am then 12 or 1pm then 6-7pm and sometimes later at night 10-12pm....Am I over feeding him???? His stomach is alway full and really round....But he stops eating when he is full...He doesn't want any food until at least 4 hours go by..does he look over feed? I tried to get pics of his stomach but he moves around alot...

yeah, cause I think I overfeed too and I only feed mine twice a day.

Piggy! :D

i think he looks overfed.
just feed him until he looks sustained, then stop.

I was gonna mention this in your other thread. But yeah ever 4-6 hours is too much IMO. My FH eat once, maybe twice a day, and I try and fast them at least 1 day a week.

Worry less about "pumping up" and more about just plain good care, good food in marginal portions. Over feeding can lead to alot of bad things including early death. With just plain good care your fish can look better than the guys who think they have to "pump up".

Focus on things like:

Tank setup(which it looks like you've done right)
Good lighting
Correct PH
Good food
And good clean water

Which are all FH basics IMO. But I wouldn't worry too much with feeding multiple times a day for an added benefit. I know with a flowerhorn that begs it's hard but you're doing better for them by holding out and just feeding once or twice.
