Help id my fish plz

it's not all that hard to get a pic of a thorichthys, especially as a juvenile, and not capture the black spot on the gill. see the pics below I took of mixteco blue, gold and green that I used to have.

I'm not by any means saying the OP's fish is definitely a Thorichthys, not by a long shot...just saying that because the OP's pic dosn't show the eye spot on the gill isn't definitive proof that it's not Thorichthys.

This is a 2" T Mixteco Gold from Rapps. Look very similar to me.

Yes it does, except for the head profile. Take a look at the mouth. Compare them side by side and you will see the diference. Also the pattern of the spangles on the flanks. Look at the first pic I posted compared to the pic of the 2" fish in question. I'm pretty sure it's a Rhytisma.
