It is a penguin 350 I never used this type of filter before I allways used the aquaclear series is the penguin filter a better filter?

had both, i perfer aquaclear. penguin is a great price. one of the main reason there's a drastic price jump, even for used emperors (next one up), is the biowheel that the penguin doesn't have

i think it looks great

thanks

I had fake plants and one live plant in my previous setup ( old 20 gallon ) with my old rhom smaller then the one i have now .......it was labeled a rhom....but he passed in 3 days i was F'n pissed he was far less shy then the one i have now....fish store gave me liquid plant food and told me to put a cap full every week it made my water really yellow and my P passed so that's why i just put driftwood and stones for this setup..kinda scared to add live plants..maybe now i can since i have a bigger tank.....thanks again for the reply

the tank came as a bundle with accessories....It says bio wheel on the filter.. is this a bio wheel? tank pretty clear now..theres a slot on the other side of the tank for another filter shall i place my aquaclear on that end as well? or do you think 1 filter is good enough...thanks again for the reply and help

if you don't have too many plants you don't need to feed the liquid fert that frequent. anyway, you could try some large floating plants, those are easy to keep and can help reduce nitrate in your tank and when the roots comes down from the top it could look pretty good.

yeah, those are biowheel. i must've had a different model but it def didn't have biowheels. i did see your version when doing internet image searchs though
