My guess is CB nigerian Lap going on finlets and the stripes you barely can see Ofc I´m probably wrong and that would just be good But I also think you would know if you had bought a PBB
Again, it is either a Nigerian Lap, or an Indonesian PBB.
They both look similar, well know sources in Japan such as Big-in are boycotting the sale of them, due to their "info" that these IPBB are infact cross breed PBB x Lapradei.
A clear picture without that awful pink light will tell for sure.
Err im from indonesia and im pretty darn sure tht theres no indo pbb or any pbb in indonesia that are of breeding size. There r alot of lapradei though.

Well, you are very wrong.
There is indeed a Bichir Bichir breeding program from Indonesia. They were originally rumored to be Turkana/Chad mixed, but many experts here in Japan have pretty much dispelled that theory. In most serious enthusiasts minds they are actually clearly a hybrid. (PBB x Lap)
One of those "experts" is Kenji Fujieda who is part of the Kamihata breeding program who actually supplied them with one of the parents, a virile female that had a proven spawning record.
Thing is, they only supplied the female at a time when PBB were VERY rare. That plus the uncanny Nigerian Lapradei features in all the juveniles kind of backs this up.
Pretty much all the juveniles are born with very uneven and bent fin lets. (another common trait of lower quality CB Laps)
