it is a ........................................................................................................................................................... fish !:D

Leptobarbus hoveni..or red finned cigar shark..I have 3 around 7".They were marked as a pinktail shark but the black stripe is a dead giveaway.

Darn, beaten to it. Also called a "mad barb" for reasons that escape me. They grow about three feet long if given enough space, turn a solid greyish and are fairly good jumpers. Pretty peaceful too.

sweet. like candy! could you tell me more about them?

Well,I know they do get quite large. They can reach around 40'' but in a tank, the biggest I've seen is around 2'.I've been feeding mine frozen bloodworms. What size tank is yours in and what else is in the tank?

lulz, i feel like i just bought a trio of redtail catfish. i'll keep em for a while, and if they get too big i'll rehome them.

seriously though, wow. I figured they would be similar to a chalceus, but i guess i was wrong.
