Help Me Choose My First Cichla!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Tems and Peru Mono's, the others grow to slow, unless you buy them larger, then get ready$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Why is it that nobody seems to ship cichla aside from the vendors? I've had private owners ship me 18" gar and 20"+ lungfish, but nobody wants to ship cichla. I wish people understood the simplicity behind shipping a fish. :screwy:

I have a 7 inch ocell that I think I will sell...maybe ship. I just need heat packs.

large p-bass are known to be hard to ship. I lost an SF Azul and that's the only fish I've ever lost. There are many other examples.

Okay, this was the sort of information I was looking for. Thanks.

Edit: I have an 8 inch Ocell for sale in the Classifieds. I have the boxes and bags from John, but do I need heat packs for summer?

I would not recommend them for summer.

Ok, well LMK if you want the bass, and maybe I will try shipping. I took pictures of me measuring it today but the camera is all weird now. So I have pictures of when the bass was 6 inches.

sure. It's definitely not impossible, but they don't seem to take shipping as well as other fish and even smaller cichla.
