Hey,
Firstly, be careful with turtles and children. Salmonella poisoning is a possibility if they don't wash their hands properly afterwards.
How come you're getting a common snapper when you're moving house and had to get rid of the other turtles? I would wait until you are in a more stable situation, I know it's tempting when someone offers you an animal they no longer want but always put the animals needs first
Why is the turtle in a future-piranha tank?, what happened to it's own tank?
Best,
Paul
