Help me ID this parrot hybrid.

i actually prefer these guys to normal parrots. i dont think its just unfaded tho. i think it has a higher percentage of the non parrot genes than usual. It still can be a con cross. when crosses are done there are so much variation in how the frys come out. i believe it is possible for a parrot con cross to look similar. That being said i dont think that is what its crossed with tho that usually repairs some of the mouth deformities. after running my mouth for so long I dont know what its crossed with. Its probably not con.

He looks more like the first picture, the second picture was taken right after I flipped on the lights at night, so hes a little more pale looking in that picture.

I disagree. It's a pretty parrot. Rare to see one unfaded at that size.

No its not, Petsmart is full of them. Hell I have 2... If they came from Petsmart then it is low quality because the unfaded $10 Parrots are the ones that would normally be culled.

That Parrot is an unfaded Blood Parrot.

Here is one of my oldest ones.

It looks like a con cross. You can't always depend on pictures of other hybrids to compare your fish. The genetics can throw a wide range of variations. Nice fish though!
