I know absolutely nothing about fhs but I can tell he is 100% correct no need to medicate other then slime coat boosters. The meds probably killed all the bb in the tank so it's like a mini cycle on top of him being hurt and unneeded meds equals tons of stress.

All u needed to do was put him back in the water. And if you have stress coat then add it.. It was as simple as that.

Update what you do. It's looking bad since he's still like that.
Is he making progress then, since he is now swimming to the surface? You have been very short in your responses. If you can fill us in with what tank setup he is in. Filtration, parameters, amount of time it has been setup, etc. That would be awesome and help us - help you - help you Flowerhorn.
You pics show absolutely nothing of filtration or how long the tank has been setup, unless I missed something. It would only take a second to describe it to me. Is this your first fish because I am getting that feeling? Also please don't withhold information if you are scared of backlash because all of us here just want to help your fish recover.
