Help me pick a herp...

Like I said, the pet industry don't really care. Most people are perfectly content with having a pet for 10-13 years with cause of death being liver diseases, kidney diseases or bowel diseases, rather than letting them live the full lifespan of 15 to 20 years with old age or cancer.
Either way, we don't have to worry about this with herps since they should be on a diet of whole food. However it is not always easy to give a BTS what it need in one sitting as whole food.
Haha... davo, I hate the ones that are kept outdoors as well. My cat is kept indoor, but I hate it when a neighbourhood cat go through your yard and mess up the garden and leave its mess all over the yard.

I just dislike cats in general, but that could be that im allergic to them, and my eyes get puffy, i start sneezing and my eyes water... thats a possibility..LOL
Maybe so, but if there was serious question out there.. it would be sorted.. do you know what foods react with which in the body to cause this? Thats all I'm saying, we are not experts in this so would be unfair to debate it? I hate cats full stop (no offence) but they are nasty. Dogs rock onnn 
Either way Jessica, it is up to you as an owner if you want to feed your pets and accept the consequences if there are any. I don't like what they use in pet food, so I feed them leftovers -- minus the grain products and other harmful goodies.
Get a Turkish Van cat... they are like dogs trapped in cat bodies. All the ones I kept hate being alone and want your constant attention. Other breeds... it is a hit or miss if they are going to become cuddly, an independent, a jerk or a meanie.
