Help me stock a 20L with CA/SA cichlids

I have Cutteri, Hondurian Redpoints, Curviceps each in separate 20Ls. They are breeding and look great in tank with slate caves and low light plants. You may want to try Eygptian Mouthbrooder. Male looks really color when in full color and all mouthbrooders are interesting during breeding.
Would a blue Acara work out if I kept it alone? I just got the prettiest one in at work today that I've gotta have...
a Blue Acara might work, but I still think a 20G is a bit small even for one . . . a full-grown BA would be 6+" . . . also, I don't usually think of them as a show-piece fish . . .

Believe me, stuffing big fish into small tanks is not my thing. The way I see it though is since everyone typically suggests convicts and firemouths, then under the same logic a blue acara should be alright as they all reach the same size. Or at least that's what I would think.
Blue acara's get to large. They get up to 8". I would consider firemouths to large as well.
You could do a single pair of almost all of the cryptoheros or archocentrus. I would recommend HRP, cutteri, panamensis, nanoluteus, sajica or my personal favorite centrarchus.
