help me VENT my 7" UMBEE

did a water change and syphon yesterday and while the water was low i decided to take out my umbee to try get a vent shot. i'm spewin i didn't get a tape measure out before i netted my umbee, but i'd say it's definitely 7" maybe slightly bigger.

can anyone vent it?

looks male to me. Vshape vent i believe is male.

Id guess female... Looks really rounded at the point. Most males I have seen have a pronounced V look to it.

can you post a pic of entire fish? hard to say with vent pics. at 7" it should be fairly easy to sex.

I think a shot of the entire fish would help me too sex your umbee. I've been told that if there's any black on their dorsal fins it indicates a female??? I'm sure others can confirm this and other things to look for w/o having to vent them.
