My german blue ram is sort of floating at the top, like it's vertical, then iit seems fine for about 10 seconds, then looks like it's dead for ages !! What do I do? Is there anything I can do???

36x18x12 size tank. Stocking is 2 pearl gourami, 1 guppie, 1mollie, 1 weather loach and 2 german blue rams.. It firt started happening about 6 hours ago now. no other symptoms. 26celsius and low ammonia, nitrate and nitrites.
What exactly is "low ammonia, nitrate and nitrites"? Do you have real readings/numbers? What some consider "low" many times is actually too much for sensitive fish.
I'm really not sure as i don't have a test kit :S But i did a water 25% water change 2 days ago and he's the only one behaving in this manner.
Rams are sensitive to water conditions. That is why the recommended water amount/tank size for them is usually rated at minimum 20g. Anything less is too hard to keep stable even though the fish itself size wise could work in a pretty small tank. A water test kit is really important to have when having an aquarium. It really will tell you whats wrong, otherwise all we have for you are educated guesses.
Exactly, any amount of ammonia or nitrite in your water will effect/kill German Rams.
Ok, thanks for the help. I think he is almost dead now, is it a problem that neither of them raise the fin that's on top of their body and retract their tail fins? (i'm a noob with fish parts XD)
