Hi,

I checked the tank last night, all was well with the Midas, and i got home today and he has red 2 patches on him.

hi,

I have noticed 2 other fish developing this same mark, what could it be? i have the salt elevated to the levels you suggested in the other thread, but nothing seems to be happening.

They are all eating the metro food well....how long to see effects?

thanks

Treat with melafix. Looks like a heater burn to me.

Working with in the confines of what you have avaiable I would use the 3X sulfa. It is also safe to use in conjunction with Metro. The dosage would be 250 mg per 10 gallons every 48 hours with a 25% water change before each treatment, just treat along with the metro regamin in combination. Treat for a about a week and you should see signs of improvement. If you don't or it should appear worse let us know.

As far as the metro goes it should be working if the fish are still eating it. Have you seen any improvement in the apperance of the GT?

No improvement in the gt yet.I'm actually in bed so I'll do the triple sulphur in the morning.

With the 3 sulphur how many tablets should I use? The exact dose written on the bottle is in the op...

Should potassium permanginate be used at any point?

Thanks

I wouldn't use the PP you have enough going on right now, just stay the course. According to the info you provide I'd start with half a tablet per 10 gallons, that should be about 230mg.

Ok I'll do that now. Should I pull the gt?I posted in the other thread about this question?

I'm fearing for my other fish, should I pull him and send him to the sky?
