HELP!!! Moving 40''++ RTC!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Lower the water level. Use large blanket with 4 persons holding. I saw in you tube videos, peoples transferring arapaima using this method.
Gud luck, really admire your monster tank.

you should be fine with the spines. Just be mindfull of them and make sure not to rest the fish against anyone while moving it. When they are thrashing is the main concern. Vids of the fish capture and move would be awesome.

lol, zoom in on the part where you get impailed by a catfish spine. Not saying it will happen, just think it would add to the vid!

This is something very interesting to see.
My monsters are growing nicely, and in less than one year I'll need to move them out too.

lol i just noticed that! lol ahahaha XD it does sound wrong...lol well aslong as you have someone to support you and your fish hobby thats great =] and you should lower the water level like Monfish Fanatic said...and just get a huge towel or something not rough or hard on the skin of the RTC and you should be fine...the RTC i was going to sell has ICH or something white all over its body so i can't ship him...=[ acting pretty weird
