Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone cud suggest how i cud move my fat 40''++ RTC out of my pond into a temporary fibreglass container. The reason is that my mum is doubling the size of my pond to accomadate my growing army of fish. therefore they will need to be out for at least 2 months. IM afraid of injuring my RTC cause of its spikes and stuff. any suggestions???

I'd be more worried about injuring myself...

You could drain the pond really low and then scoop the out with a sling of some sort.

Lucky you. My son and husband dont get involved in my fish at all. They never help cleaning the pond or the tank. They both love to show off the moster fish. Hubby just pays for it. LOL My thought on the spines may be silly but worth a thought. I was thinking marshmellows. Or grapes. Something like that, texture wise, that wont get stuck on the spine. Foam filter blocks might get stuck. I have been stabbed a few times just cleaning. This might trigger that perfect solution for many of us who will have to move our monsters. Good luck.
