HELP....my fish are all dead...

yup fish keeping can be tough if you dont know what you are doing, its basicly trial and error unfortunetly for the fish till you get the hang of it. But really do the research before getting the fish it will help both you and your monsters!!
 
got the hob refugium with built in skimmer up and running.a little confused as to what how to setup the skimmer part.i added chemi-pure and cheato.i set the skimmer in there but dont know if foam is supposed to come out or not.it keeps getting full of water.what the hell is going on????? please help lol.damn im a nembie........

Your collection cup is overflowing? Well then their should be an air valve or something to adjust the flow.

I know this is going to sound stupid but there is a difference between wet bubbles and dry bubbles. Well airbubbles and liquid bubbles. You want the dry bubbles to get just to the top and not let the liquid ones run over. It will take awhile for the skimmer to break in on your system so just give it time, and you will learn as you toy with it.

Doctors don't know why people obtain cancer or a lot of other diseases. Figureing out the problem is what we should shoot for. Many cancer paitents have been cured through alternitive health with nothing more than lasers and mind body and spirit health. When you go to a doctor he only treats the symptoms. He makes money off writing those pills to you and you eat them up thinking they will cure you. It only happens for a while. It was a generilzed statement and not to offend anyone. All i am saying is quit looking at the quick fixes and people need to stop medicating. You need to find the root problem.

If we did that today no one would end up with cancer. Is that not true? I am not saying we arn't trying to find the root issue but if we could then there would be no problem. Take this and apply it to your underwater world. I understand this subject is heavy, i have had people die from cancer in my family.

In the mean time people will keep thinking the pharmaceutical drugs are curing problems. Giving you that fake saftey blanket. One day people will see clearer.

So just like cancer, nuking people or your fish tank when a root problem can be solved is just stupid.




When in this case your heater and tempeture probably brought on the outbreak and its not as serious. Sorry if i offended anyone but health wise i don't agree with anything doctors say these days. They are out for the money, and the government preeches that and they know nothing more.

My best friends mother died from cancer. Watching the most caring person in the world be eaten from the inside in a chair every day was the worst thing ive ever seen. She didn't deserve that and it was the most painful thing i have ever seen. The doctors killed her before the cancer did, and she still had a chance for alternitive. I still regret to this day i had known of alternitive health and was a little older.

You dont have to agree with my thought process. But i hope this explains a little. Sorry if i offended you at all. This is just a very touchy subject that shouldn't be hidden. It is okay to talk about cancer, hopefully giving it more attention can get us a solution faster.

bit late, but could not resist some input, sound like nothing but brain washing and disillusionment from the other end of the spectrum with the real answerer being somewhere in the middle.
 
o.k canuck,i set the collection cup right on the top of the water like 1/8 inch submerssed(almost nothing)ad turned on the pump.no bubbles are coming out the top.no bubbles are making it even a quarter of the way throught but i must admit.DAMN,this thing is noisy.when i open the airline.lol.but i suppose i just have to wait.
