Help needed with ammonia really high

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I also have an overstocked tank, not that bad though. Anyway, you could always try to add more bio media, and try to incorporate pothos. Helped with my tank. While you think about your options, go crazy with water Changes.

If you cant get a larger tank, then get rid of the silver aro and rays. Their gonna outgrow thy tank, or become stunted.

i knew a guy who had a 55 gallon show tank with a 300 gallon wet/dry. he had that 55 gallon loaded with fish and they were all in perfect condition. I would invest in a couple bio-reactors or a huge wet/dry. you should have at least 5 inches of gravel or 1-2mm size gravel (peace river) in your 6x2x2 right now. that would help out. put 2 "polyfilters" in your filter. they will absorb ammonia to an extent. If you really love your fish then you are going to have to do something diffferent than what you are doing or get rid of a few fish. If you care about them.
