OMG!!!!!

The blacks don't seem to have the proverbial "stupid look", like silvers do, mine was all eyeballs, watching every movement in the room........

I just changed to white sand
Geez, the petstore can smell me a mile away, I'm the one in the store for 1 fish item that has 14 animals hanging off me. Hmmmm nice kitten, hmm, can I hold the guinea pigs?, add a bird and it'll be a 3 ring circus.......

From what I know...

Well...Asians are out of the question since they're illegal in the USA

Silvers are the cheapest, most common, largest, and not as aggressive as some other Aros

Blacks are more expnsive, haven't seen them around as much, maybe a little smaller than the silver, hear that they are the least aggressive of the Aros, and loses color as they grow

Jardinis are pretty expensive, smaller than the South American Aros, closest Aro that resmbles an Asian Aro, and are the most aggressive Aros

Leithartis are very expensive, hard to find, kind of like the Jardinis

Here's some pics I found...in order of Silver, Black, Jardini, Leitharti

I didn't know that blacks were less as aggressive than silvers.

Nice info.

Personally, I LOVE blacks. They are beautiful, elegant, (I think) prettier than all others(excluding asians), and just plain rock. More expensive than the silvers. Harder to find.

Silver Aros are nice, get large, pretty eisily found, pretty inexpensive, nice first aro.

Jardini's are just plain mean. Their tails look like the Asians, but personally, I prefer the tail of the blacks and silvers. They want to kill things. They're pretty cool for an aquarium though.

The liechardi Aro I know basically nothing about. All I know is that they are rare, expensive, mean and look kinda like the Jardini.
