help on choosing fish 55g

Or start small and finding how more rewarding it is when they get bigger.
They'll reach 5-6" within a year and will take forever to out grow a 55g.
 
Are you talking about a datnoid? About how much are they
and where online can I order one? I live in Lexington ky and
and there is a bunch of pet/fish stores but I'm sure they don't
carry them.
 
You can always ask them to order one.
Or maybe a nice vender here can ship you one.
Watch out though most of them will rape you on shipping.
 
so i did go to a lfs and they told me they would order anything that they were capable of getting in. So i was telling the guy about some of the fish i was interested in, and a wolf fish was one of them. I explained to him that i had read online that these fish are usually inactive. contrary to my belief, he said that all of the ones he has had in his store have actually been low to mid level swimmers and appeared to be active. ??? is this true or is he just blow smoke up my ass?
 
If I was you I would get a red devil, I keep mine in a 55 for about 6 months and now he is in a 125g he is super aggressive and has claimmed my living room and bites te glass if i put my finger on the tank.
