help on teaching my jardini to eat pellets

kabayan! dip the pellet first in garlic sauce before feeding it to your monster.. i have read many posts mentioning something about a garlic sauce product made from crushed garlic that is supposedly good in stimulating a fish's appetite when introducing new diets.. since wi dont have that product here and we are pinoys, known for our ingenuity, try crushing garlic and dip the pellets in it's sauce before feeding it to your monster.. congrats on your feat anyway!

dip the pellet into the water before feeding it to your monster.. it may not be as good as the garlic products out there and i dont even know if it works but a lot of people said it works but it is a cheap alternative..Ü

What i realise is the best solution is put in a greedy fish like a flowerhorn or oscar cause they eat alot so starve the jardini for abit then put in those cichlids and he will see that they are eatin most his food and he will eat just to keep up or be greedy (selfish).. worked for me.

Just poke a hole in the shrimp and stick the pellets inside the hole. Its been mentioned several times already. No need to starve the fish.

I did the same with my jar. I have a flowerhorn, 2 regular wild plecos, 2 tiger plecos, and 2 4 inch loaches that love surface food. After awhile of watching them eat all of it's pellets, it finally decided to eat pellets. Now my jar eats pellets, crickets, and shrimp with no hassle. You just have to give it sometime and starvation or competition in order for that light bulb to glow.
