water has a sulfur / rotten egg smell. Used Amquil and Amquil + like I usually do.

Have 2 gal of spring water but it's been in the fridge.

Other Oscar and Pleco look fine.

You should post pics....Rotten egg usually means overfeeding. Sounds like new tank syndrome.

Water did cloud up after putting the temp to 86 deg and adding 5 TBSP per 10 gal salt for Ich treatment last week. Ich is gone.
Tank smelled fine before the water change but 30 min after it smells and he tried to jump out. The tap water smells like sulfur.
Now just he's gasping and curling.

You need some established media fast...and please post pics if you can.

The other Oscar and Pleco still look fine.

I put the sick one in a large bowl of spring water with a little amquil and a battery powered air stone. Looks like he might be perking up some. but he is still on his side and this won't work for long.

Yeah bro...How far away is your LFS? Go ask them for a little established media, of any kind...Even a little gravel..Take a bit of yours to trade.....Put the established media in a bag and put it in your filter...The sick oscar might not make it. The others still have a chance.

Thats a real shame i feel your pain with ill fish i have an 18" datnioides pulcher with a fungal infection it caught of a clown loach i just got that did what clown loach do and got stressed out to the point where it got some infection.
I really hope they get better and pull through i hate to see fish ill.

This is a bit off. But that's an awesome tank. Hope your fish will be fine.

I just recalled. Try placing your Oscar directly at the bubbles created by your airpump for a minute or 2. It saved my African Cichlid once.
