help me out..

as most of you know i have a project that involves ray breeding, it is still a project but it's evolving fast.

right now i have a couple of motoros and a couple of humerosas.

just found a great ray breeder in SA, and they have veryu nice and very good priced rays.

and since i'm growing them together for now, witch whould be the best deal for a new couple for now?

i'm getting more to have at the shop, but i mean for me... wich one whould you?

please keep in mind the only expensive one from the list i'm showing is the menchacai, so probably not that one for now...

i have 2 places, but yes, both in peru

Some of those rays are only found in Brazil (scobina and histrix).

My guess is that your supplier, along with many others, may be using whatever name seems to fit. You may not get what you think you are getting.

I would go for the nazca. They are generally yepezi or a variant of and they are very nicely patterned. They also stay much smaller than the castexi variants and the motoros.

size is not really an issue, since my project includes 3/3m tank per ray specie

those i can get for about 200 dollars each.

no too expensive, i guess...

any more ideas?

remember i only will have 11 ray breeding tanks, so only 11 species, i have humerosa and motoro already. so 9 types of ray to go. plus the easyer they are to breed the better, also they should be wanted rays, because i intend to sell theys pups later

you say size is not a problem mmmm hears some tiger rays flower probably get the same size

thanks but obiously the money to support the facility comes from importing on a very large scale and suplying portugal and spain.

project has over 2500 holding tanks.

left to right, is:

arowana breeding (5 tanks)
ray breeding (11 tanks)
salt water breedng (120 tanks)
fresh water supply ( 2000 tanks)
saltwater supply (500 tanks)
office
toylets
warehouse (foods and supplys)
and factory (tanks, filters, lights etc..)

breeding is for export anywere , and importing is to supply portugal and spain mostly.

i'm at the begining, so i'm not going for the black or pearls or even the menchacai, i'm allready spending too much right now as it is, but as rays take some time to grow, i'm buyng a couple each time i can, and these are not expensive, so i leave the most expensive ones for last

i'm thinking flower, i confess, otorongo is also nice but i wanted to hear what you guys think first
