Help! Platysilurus malarmo has tangled antenna filament!

Here in Wa at Pet-Pourri. They've had him for months and months at something like 80 dollars. I walked in there last night and the price flatly said 29.99. I walked over to my friend who works there and said "Bag him". He got so excited he started rambling in excitement because he knew exactly which fish I meant, so I waved my hand around and said, "Nuh-uh, less words, more bagging!".


I guess I could snap a few shots if I get lucky. I've never had a real camera before and after thirty pictures turning out solid white, solid black or nasty dank yellow I get fed up pretty quick. But I'll get a few anyway, Then it's the game of "Where did my computer store the photos?" for half an hour. And I still can't figure out why some pictures are jpeg and some are represented as a mysterious symbol that MFK can't upload. I hate technology.

Got pics. Camera refuses to convert them to JPEG from RAW. Camera is Pentax model K10, I think. Any suggestions? I've figured out how to make it show me a slideshow and somehow managed to convert two or three to JPEG, but not consistently. What am I missing here?

I think its a setting on your camera. I started reading this and thought it was helpful so far.

I figured it out. It doesn't convert them. It re-saves them as a new file and slaps them onto the end of the list. So I just had to go through them and erase all the RAW files to get a clean list of JPEG files to upload. And I did. And here they are!

I actually did a little in-camera editing to brighten some of the darkest shots. I feel good about today's camera experience. I hope these shots are at least enjoyable as they were taken under aquarium lighting. I don't have a flash yet.

He's not even as big as I was thinking, maybe 5" of body length. Currently in a 20gallon quarantine. I think I saw an ich dot on his side.

Thanks, and yeah, I have one and I still want one! I think it's the emo eyes of imploring-ness on him. Like he just read a depressing poem out loud and is waiting for me to cry.
