No problem. As for the price... People drop crazy money on blue eye panaque, spend thousands on black rays, heck I've seen koi go for $25k online. If you like it and you have the money don't every let anyone discourage you!
looks to be swimming fine now anyway.. good clean water and preventing infection should heal up.
I'm going to say he should be fine too... just keep water clean, and he should be okay... my polleni would at times jump at hit his head hard against the cover and cut himself pretty bad at times, but nothing clean water hasn't been able to fix... at least in my circumstances...
Hes fine. Do a water change, bump the temp up a little, and add some salt and it will heal fine. I have seen much much worse and came back fine. Sounds like he knocked himself silly, my big Red Dragon did that once and I though he paralyzed himself but he was fine 10 minutes later.
man be careful with that investment haha, hes a good lookin fish even with a gash, he will heal up as others have said.
